What is Platform.Bible?

A simple yet powerful editor, that can be expanded with additional capability, to match the needs and the ability of the Bible translator. An open source effort, developed by a community of Bible translation organizations, for translation teams of many nations. A platform for excellent Bible resources to allow the translator to become immersed in scripture.

When can I use Platform.Bible?

You can download and install pre-release packages today from https://github.com/paranext/paranext-core/releases. A production-ready editor will be available in late 2024.

Will it work with Paratext?

Platform.Bible is the natural successor to Paratext and will integrate with Bible translation and language development tools as well or better than Paratext.
